Suitable Christmas present for a fan of Richard the Third
2008-12-05 21:15:26
Hello fellow members.
My girlfriend is member of the Richard the Third Society and a huge
fan and knowledgeable about all things Richard the Third.
I want to buy her something special this Christmas. She lives on the
other side of the world from me and its our first Christmas as a couple.
Can anybody suggest something special or a website selling Richard the
Third related literature.
Thanks
J

try ebay and bookfinder.com
you can occassionally pick up some rare books, or other ricardian items.
i'd say bookfinder is probably your best choice, with luck a book could be delivered to her in time for christmas. the assorted richard iii society and foundations often list books that they own, or recommend books.
is she a serious researcher, or a fan of richard? this may help you decide what type of book you'd buy for her...i.e. fiction vs nonfiction.
depending upon what country she lives in, there are also ricardian tours, and events.
stephen lark seems to be fairly on top of the one's occuring in england.
you don't say how much you'd like to spend. so, you could even arrange a holiday in england for her to tour, if she's elsewhere on the planet..or even if she lives in england.

Thanks for the suggestions.
She has been to England and travelled extensively while here, hitting
all the historical hot spots but she never made it to Middleham. She
was convinced it would be difficult to get to although I tried to
convince her otherwise and that I would take her but since I dont
drive it would have been by public transport and we ran out of time.
So when I heard about the video the problem was solved.
Thanks alot for your help.
