Can I quote from a letter in the latest Ricardian Bulletin - I shall anyway
The lady points out that shortly after Anne died Richard was obliged to defend him before a
council of the Mayor and citizens of London (a well known fact). The issues at hand were the
death of Anne and his intention to marry Elizabeth of York.
This would have been the perfect opportunity to ask some questions about the
'disappearance' of the two princes. Why did they not. The author if the letter suggests was
this because it was a 'non-issue' or because they knew that Richard was innocent of the
disappearance?
A very good point. Can anyone throw any enlightment on this matter or suggestions. I
would be most interested.
