Speaking of Annette Carson....what an excellent book. I have enjoyed it so much especially the chapters on the disappearance of the Princes and the Bones (of Contention). I have not enjoyed a book so much since Royal Blood by Bertram Fields and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who has not read it yet. There are some things, from the book, I would like to discuss here but I fear it might spoil it for those that have not read it yet. So Hurry Up everyone and read so we can discuss!!!! ;0)

Agreeing with you is becoming a habit Eileen!! :-)
Yes, absolutely wonderful book, a great source book too for any
future discussions as Annette is scrupulous in clearly stating where
she gets her information from, and puts each and every source in
context, when they wrote, what their bias was, if any, etc. Her
conclusions are all sensible and intelligent.
Yes, buy it folks and read it. You will enjoy it, of that I am certain!
I find it amazing that the main organs have not reviewed it, and that
book clubs have not taken it up while urging us to buy the latest
Michael hicks or Alison Weir, neither of which names I enjoy writing,
let alone reading, as both are so unreliable. A disgrace.

Hi, Paul, Eileen et al!

Perhaps you folks who have read it might consider recommending it to the
people at National Trust and the City of York Office of Tourism when writing
follow-up comments to them. :-)

I definitely plan on getting it! It sounds wonderful!

Johanne

Hello Eileen and everyone,

I second the motion. I'm eager to see a good, detailed discussion in this forum.

I bought and read Maligned King. I've reviewed it for the U.S. Branch of RIII Society's quarterly. I'm not sure when it will be printed.

But even without reviews, the first printing sold out and anyone who wants to buy it will have to wait until this June--according to information on the U.S. Branch discussion list.

Hi Marion, there are at this moment 2 used copies for sale on UK Amazon. Though why anyone would want to sell their copy I know not........
