In compiling a database of Wars of the Roses families I'm struggling to piece together a family tree for the Crackenthorpes.
There seem to have been two branches; the senior of Newbiggin, the junior of Howgill; but I find all online information confusing and incomplete.
Freezywater are as usual confused by cadet branches, making John of Howgill father of Thomas of Newbiggin, yet giving them the same arms.
Anyone have a reliable geneology?
