has any one done any comparison of these 3 or 4 coronations. such as the preparations, cost, guard, guests, etc.. lets also toss in h6, i know nothing about his coronation. did he have 2? (one when he was young and other after he retook the throne from e4.)
i have a copy of the coronation of richard. it's been a while since i've had the opportunity to read/study it.
can anyone recommend some books or articles with regards to this topic.
thanks
roslyn

Hi, Rose:
Try "Coronation: From the 8th to the 21st Century", by Roy Strong. I got
it from the remaindered section at Chapters just after Christmas. There
are probably some still around. If not. you can get it through abebooks
http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?an=Roy+STrong&sts=t&tn=Coronation&x=72&y=14
I haven't read it thoroughly yet, but it's pretty substantive.
