Hello Everyone,

I don't see Ricahard's name yet, so I've recommended him. I hope they get lots of recommendations and we'll see him on their list soon.

Roslyn, thanks again for posting about this.

Hello Fellow Ricardians,

Well, I just sent in the suggestion to include Richard in the Mural!
Here's my post to them:

I recommend Richard III of England, one of the most misunderstood
monarchs in history. His reign promised to be a boon to the commoners of
England but his life was cut short at the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485.
Perhaps he was too much of a threat to the nobles of the time. He was
betrayed in battle by a supposed supporter. In his short reign of 2 years
he instituted the system of bail and mandated that laws be published in
English and not just Latin, so everyday folks could have a chance to
understand them. And there is no proof he had the sons of Edward IV killed
in the Tower! That is Tudor propaganda began in the reign of Henry VII, the
first Tudor monarch, continued by Sir Thomas More (see where sucking up to a
Tudor got him!) and continued through the reign of Queen Elizabeth I.

To get the other side of the story of Richard III go to website
http://www.r3.org <http://www.r3.org/> .

Thank you,

Janet Trimbath

Perhaps a few more messagew will get them to cxonsider it.

L.M.L.,

Janet

Hello Fellow Ricardians,

I am sending along a response I got from my e-mail to the people who put
up that Mural Mosaic. I think it would be appropriate for one of our
officers or Board Members to write the

article to which they allude.

Thank you for the info, I happy to let you know that Lewis Lavoie has
decided to include Richard III in his mural of important rulers,

He has requested to see if a representative or member of the Richard III
Society would like to supply the descriptive text to go along with the
painting... we usually just snip info from Wikipedia, we would give credit
to the society and a link to the page.

Let us know if you are from the site, or if we should contact them on our
own

Thanks

Paul

Mural Mosaic

Their e-mail address is muralmosaic@.... The contact is Paul.
Looks like they are in Canada! Anyway, will an appropriate person in our
Parent Society take this on or should I contact the American or Canadian
Branch people?

We definitely want to take this opportunity to get across our point of view!
They said they would link to our webpage, too.

Please let me know so I can get back to them soon.

L.M.L.,

Janet
