Returning to the fold after some 35 years, a career and raising a family! I was a member of the Society in the 1970's, at which time there was an active branch centred in Ashford, Kent. We used to do period costume dinners, visit local places of medieval interest, that sort of thing.
Can't remember the name of the very energetic lady who ran it, but I noticed her grave at Sutton Cheney the last time I visited Bosworth.
Have visited many Ricardian sites when I lived in Yorkshire, including exploring Towton battlefield on my hands and knees. I was younger then!
I now live within easy travel of Ludlow, Mortimer's Cross and am on the route Henry Tudor took after landing in Pembroke and making his way up through Wales.
