I just caught the tail end of a story about the battle on the local Midland News yesterday. Just caught that archeologists have now uncovered proof that the battle took place about a mile and a half from where the monument to Richard is. I tried to find out more by going to the Midland News' website but unfortunetly there was nothing there. Very frustrating....expect more will come out soon though....hopefully....

*** Is this the item you mentioned? Link below to The Telegraph article
( hope it works!) It seems that the current work agrees with Peter
Foss's theory.

Thank you for the link. I've been following this on and off for some time now, and it's good to see that the research is continuing. Hopefully, this will enable archeologists and people with metal detectors to find battle artifacts.

Hi all,

Sorry to pour cold water but the team agreed with Peter Foss before they started (they did not investigate Michael K Jones' site), and didn't actually find anything.

Some of you are familiar with my gripes on this one.

Best,

Marie
