My compliments to Paul Trevor Bale for assembling such a fine list of
character sketches. Even if one discounts those that may reflect self-
interest (the Scottish Ambassador?) the objective ones paint an
impressive portrait. Would that I had such a list of character
references on my resumé.

Paul Trevor Bale
Thank you Robert but the credit must go to Jo Ann Ricca and the
Richard the Third Foundation for assembling the quotes.
I posted them on thinking what a marvellous a resource for all
Ricardians, especially on the King's birthday. We are all on the same
side after all, and the quotes are all in the public domain. That
does not denigrate Jo's work in compiling them in any way though.
Paul
