Thanks for the link!
I already own his book about Medieval Costumes, a gift from a friend.
About historical fashion, the last time I visited the National Portrait Gallery in London I came out with "The Tudor Tailor" by Ninya Mikhaila and Jane Malcolm-Davies (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tudor-Tailor-Jane-Malcolm-Davies/dp/0713489855/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1274621819&sr=1-1), a really beautiful book!

Hi!
Just a quick note about a delightful book:
Tom Tierney, 'Gothic Costume Paper Dolls':
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gothic-Costume-Paper-Dolls-History/dp/
0486413292/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1274471996&sr=1-1
15C paper dolls these are delightful, and cover most of the
century, in predominantly Burgundian styles.
The BBC in the US is hoping to bring out 'The Shadow of the Tower' on
DVD later this year:

first-tudor-king/
(Yes, that's me commenting on it as 'Silverwhistle'!)
best wishes,
Doc M
