A little off topic, but saw this advertised on Amazon, yet to be released, has anyone seen anything about it, believe it looks at Edward II and Richard II, and included a theory that Edward II survived. Any help appreciated

Looks like you forgot to include the link or the title and other identifying info.
If I had a dollar for every time I've done that, I could buy several more R III books.

From the product details at Amazon.co.uk (where I already had it on
my wish list,) it looks like it might be coming out on September 16th.

The theory of Edward II surviving in exile after his deposition has been around a while and is mentioned in his Wikipedia entry -

There is a fairly extensive discussion of the possibility that Edward II was
not murdered at Berkeley Castle in Ian Mortimer's biography of Roger
Mortimer, The Greatest Traitor. Very interesting book.I draw your attention
to p 249-250 where he says "Careful sifting of the facts reveal 3 details in
particular which together demonstrate that he did not die in Berkeley
Castle."
