Anne De La Pole
Anne De La Pole

Hi all. Our local branch has set a fiendish challenge for our January
meeting: everyone has been asked to give a five minute run-down on some
of the "bit players" at or near the courts of Edward, Richard and
Henry. Of course, the names to research were drawn out of a hat. My
wife scored James Tyrell, and I was saddled with Anne De La Pole. To
date I have been able to find effectively nothing about the girl -
because she was a child in Richard's time, and a twinkle in the eye of
here apparently inconsequential father during Edward's reign.
Can anyone shed light on this mystery woman? If you email me directly,
I will collate the responses and report back to this forum in one hit.
Thanks y'all
