I see that Market Bosworth Station has reopened to passengers after 80 years.

This means that, theoretically, there is public transport to the battlefield, albeit to Shenton Station which has traditionally been interpreted as being at the 'Tudor end' of the site, so still quite a walk to the Battlefield Centre.
In addition, like many old stations, Market Bosworth ain't exactly in the town centre and handy for the Leicester bus. But it's a new option, anyway.

Hi, Brian!
Ah, the bus....
In 1980, my friend and I were told we might catch the bus on Beaver Street. We
looked long and hard at our maps. Then I glanced up and read "Belvoir" on the
side of an building.
"Eureka!" I said. "This must be it...."
Cheers!
Judy
