IF only they could've spoken to Henry VIII and found out what a complete egotistical monster he was. How Anne Boleyn and Katherine Howard could lose their heads over him, I've no idea: probably for the money!

katherine communicated in latin until she learned english. i don't know about anne. i do know in the era, most nobles were multi-lingual. cleves may have been able to speak latin and/or french.
 
boleyn and howard were family patsies. they were of the howard bloodline, and the howard daughters were used to climb the social/power ladder. another family who used family members for power plays were the greys.
 
lady jane grey was married to her cousin guildford dudley, in an attempt to capture the throne. dudley's grandmother was a de grey/grey.
