History's Mysteries

A short time ago some British Ricardians were discussing a show
about the Tower of London. Well, according to my computer, that
show is on tonight on the History Channel - 8:00 PM. At least in
Detroit. They are calling it the "Bloody Tower of London". I am not
sure it is the same one but sounds similar.

I'm reasonably sure it isn't the same one. I have a
tape of the one you're talking about. I could
transcribe it- if I didn't already. I actually think
I did! Right after I finished Penman's book, which
is how I got into this. I had read Tey's book a long
time ago but didn't remember the particulars. I'm not
home at the moment. Tonight I think I actually have a
little time to work on this!

If I have it, I'll put it in my yahoo briefcase with
those articles.

I actually have, "In Search of the Tower of London Murders". A 20
minute program, probably produced between 1981 and 1986. It last
played on the History Channel on Dec 2, 2002.

I did transcribe it, and I just uploaded it to my yahoo briefcase.
If anyone sends me their yahoo ID (not their e-mail address) I can
give them access to it. It was created in WORD 97 and is a DOC file.
I probably could make it a simple text file without much trouble.

This program is about 20-25 minutes long, begins with a
brief "bloody" history of the Tower of London, and includes an
interview with Jeremy Potter and several other British Richard III
Society members.

Apparently no "History's Mysteries" version of the Tower of London
murders exists. Atleast the A&E/ History Channel online store is not
selling it.

There is, however, also an "In Search of History" program, In Search
of History: The Missing Princes of England 50 minutes $24.95
AAE-42270. Probably similar to the first but better. Certainly
longer. It supposedly is done much like the first one, with
interviews with various experts.

Yours,
Dora

WHOOPS! The file I uploaded isn't a transcript of The Tower of
London Murders. It is my partially completed notes on Richard III
and the murders.

The first page is the important points made in The Tower of London
Murders.

Since the first words of the document are "In Search Of" and I forgot
to give it a name, WORD gave the file the name of In Search Of.doc.

I really thought I transcribed it, I clearly remember doing something
of that sort, but not to be found.

I suppose I could transcribe it.
