We have had a good run for some years now without any off topic mails until now, so not bad going really!

Thanks, Nell. It's an awful, sinking feeling, when things have been so civilized.

It's a scam. Every once in a while something like this pops up in a Yahoo Group site. We should just ignore it.

their email has been hacked & is sending out random messages to anyone
they've ever emailed - happened to me a while ago - can be a little
embarrassing. If the person whose email it has come from can see this
message it should simply be a case of changing your password (&maybe your
password for other things like banking etc) - everyone else delete it &
DONT click on the link!

Argh! But thanks, Lisa. Yes, a similar thing happened to a friend. Let me change passwords...yet again!

No one will ever get such a solicitation from me by intention, so fellow Ricardians, if you see one, it's not from me. Please let me know, quickly!

I another group I belong to, a message purportedly from a regular user suddenly appeared, saying she was in London and her purse with all her money and credit cards and passport had been stolen, and would we please wire her some money to such-and-such address.

Fortunately everyone knew she was in an East Coast US state, in the process of buying a house, because she had been keeping us updated on that subject.

Hi, Karen -
Sending a msg to the Forum won't do the trick. You have to edit your preferences on the Yahoogroups website. If you still can't do it, you will have to contact the moderator, Neil Trump, offlist.
Good luck!

Start by just googling Richard III. The first Links should be Wikipedia. They will give you a brief summary but are not to be taken as gospel. Then go to the Richard III society homepage just Google that name and you will be content for some time.

The problem I find is that I tend to get a little lost in all the names (as in who is in relation to who) as Richards reign is not so well known to me. Is there a site where I could get a better acquaintance with them?
