Drive to Leicester

Dear everyone.
I am driving up to Leicester this sunday from Plymouth and would love to visit the site and talk to people. Can anyyone give me direction to the site and car parking facilities. Thanks very much

Philip, I suggest you find somewhere to park and make your way on foot to the cathedral, which is literally on the other side of the road to where the excavations are. The main excavated car park is approached from a tiny street called New Street. Anyone you meet will be able to direct you!

Whether there is anyone now at the site is another question. I think you'd do best to contact the University of Leicester in advance to find out.
