Believe me, when Charles did marry Camilla after all the goings on that the intrusive press revealed to us&..I WAS amazed that it was so formally accepted. A great love story, no matter how long in coming about or through what morass, should happen. Just so sad that much misery precluded it. I always felt REALLY sorry for Camilla`s husband, he sure put up with a heap! But he certainly couldn't walk up to Prince Charles, tap him on the shoulder, and then deck him. :-)

Don't feel remotely sorry for Andrew Parker Bowles - he was notoriously unfaithful to Camilla all the time they were married

Hi, Carol-
Yes, I agree with you. In some ways it is a very sad story with a peaceful
ending for all - except for Diana, although it's possible that, had the car
accident not happened, that she might have been happy in the end as well. I
do feel glad for Charles and Camilla that they have persevered, and that
Charles has two wonderful sons, and Kate is such a wonderful addition to the
Royal Family. BTW, talk about coincidence, I moved to Cambridge, Nova
Scotia, on the day that Wills and Kate were married and became the Duke and
Duchess of Cambridge. I will never forget their wedding!

the whole issue of both couples. charles and diana and camilla and andrew..would not have been an issue if diana had known how to play the aristocracy game.

produce an heir and spare and then go where your loins lead you Discretely!

for centuries it was only the middle class who played by the rules of fidelity. the upper and lower classes basically did as they would and will.

even today, one often hears about males straying from the marriage bed..the response is often..well men do that, you know.

so the whole issue of charles and camilla's straying is simply middle class gossip. i've even heard the e2's sons, edward and andrew aren't actually phillips.

the big big thing is be discrete when chosing you lovers amongst the nobility. and amongst the lower classes..well, you know those people are like that. they have no morals.

if it had not been for charles's "royal" advisors, he would have married his first and true love camilla. then there would be nothing for us to talk about. would there.

Well if you look at Andrew, he actually looks very much like Philipp's family (or would if he was as thin as them, especially the nose

Yeah, he'd-a got tackled pretty quick, all right. But... correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Brig. Parker Bowles know all about the romance between Camilla and Charles?
