Here's a link to a video report on the burial controversy: http://www.itv.com/news/central/update/2012-10-29/confusion-over-richard-iiis-remains-full-report/

Although the reporter does call him Richard of York and refer to York as his home city, the report is otherwise accurate and objective--not a word about deformity, "crimes," or a shaky claim to the throne. And the reporter at one point stands beside the statue of Richard holding his crown commemorating his death at Bosworth and at another shows the National Portrait Gallery portrait.

Hooray! It appears that the Society is getting somewhere in its attempts to educate the media--or at least some reporters are getting the message.

I can forgive our :CBS This Morning" reporters for being more concerned at the moment with the plight of New York City and other places hit hard by Hurricane Sandy.

By the way, for those interested, most news reports on the skeletal remains are now focusing on the tentative and unconfirmable identity of the female skeleton. At least their constant search for a new angle keeps Richard in the news.
