The posts aren't linking and Yahoo messed up the link that Eileen was trying to post, including "Fotheringhay..." in the link. It should be http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/arthistory/research/staffinterests/ja/cm2620matichalexander2082-103150.pdf

Right, Eileen?

By the way, I forgot to mention that I'd love to attend the carol service there if only I could. Do they give a discount to Carols? Sorry, I couldn't resist. I love Christmas carols, especially in a church setting, and that particular carol service would have special meaning to me because of Richard whether or not they charged admission.

Can you just copy and post the pdf file only, as the way you have copied
the hypertext link brings up all sorts of alarms and warnings as it has
attached Java sub scripts to the post

Thanks

Not really I replied in Greek!

However PDF is a file format that if you can just capture the file rather than the whole post it will enable people to see it.

Thanks
George

Carol responds:

I've noticed! Wrong Carol, by the way. (I would joke that Carol d, Carole J, Coral, and I are in league to confuse everyone, but someone might take me seriously!)

Carol responds:

It's okay. I reposted the link, so he should be able to access it now.

Side note: I've noticed a number of people using the spelling "Fotheringay." I thought it was "Fotheringhay," with an "h."

For what it's worth, a .pdf is the kind of file that you read with Adobe Reader. Usually it has both text and pictures. The site you linked to is a .pdf file, but it's much too long to cut and paste.

Hi, Eileen. George was being funny. I put his message into Google translator and got "A PDF file is used by Adobe and can be copied separately."

Do you really speak Greek, George, or did you cheat like me?

You "speak only Latin and Greek to French that was forcefed in public school"? Google must be mistranslating.

BTW, did the Fotheringhay link open for you after I recopied it?
