Late-Fifteenth Century Indentures
Late-Fifteenth Century Indentures

Does anyone know of any good meaty indentures from around this time? Or maybe one from early fifteenth for comparison with the late fifteenth?*
*excluding the Northumberland / Gloucester indentures, sorry!
Thanks in advance. Just want poking.
...in the right direction, that is! ;)

Cora Scofield, (iirc) collected some indentures between Edward IV and the
earl of Warwick. I have it somewhere, but I think it's in hard copy. As my
scanner's acting weird, I won't be able to scan it. If it's on my hard
drive, I can see about getting a copy to you if you like.

Thanks Karen that'd be great, the gutting thing is there's a couple of things available by her on JSTOR but not that (I guess you mean: 'Five Indentures between Edward IV and Warwick the Kingmaker'?). I appreciate the response about something slightly drier, if less cretinous, than RIII's bed or whether he was going to be a priest, etc. LOL.
Cheers! I'll keep searching too.

I don't have it on my hard drive, sadly, just in hard copy. This will mean
me digging it out, asking my husband to scan it at work, then emailing it to
you in the next day or so. If I don't, please remind me. I have four
interviews to transcribe by the end of the week and I might get a little
caught up! (But then the job will be done and I can spend the next few weeks
stressing about when the next one will come along.)

Honestly Karen, please don't worry, it's only for a thesis. Sounds like you have PLENTY on your plate already without getting involved in trivia, but I REALLY appreciate the offer all the same!
Have a good [remaining] weekend.

Thanks Karen! But-
-crumbs!- I just found it on JSTOR. Thanks for your help as I appreciate being shown what to look for, I wouldn't have known about her. Thanks!
PS:Silly question, but do you want an e-copy of it? Save you hunting it out again if you need it?
PPS: I think the way forward might be to try and dig out a couple from (say) the 13th c. and compare them; if there ARE any of course. LOL etc.
Cheers!
