Any more books?

SO it seems I have exhausted the whole list of fiction on Richard!! And most of the books listed on the Fiction list of War of the Roses(yup,I have a regular job and a little child:/)!!I also read some VERY bad books with names like The Warwick Heiress that has very little to do with Anne or Isabel. And a book called Pawns of Fortune. The dust jacket says it is about Anne and Dickon but it is ABSOLUTELY not.

Any more books somewhere out there?

Have you read *The Seventh Son,* by Reay Tannahill (sp?)? I have the
audiobook, and I am enjoying it so far very much. Like the interpretation of
Richard's character and Anne's very much.

Have you read The Court of the Midnight King by Freda Warrington? She is a fantasy writer so you have to be brave. But it is a beautiful, poetic book with a (partially) alternative happy ending. Not for those who want it to conform with every known fact, but if you want a break from hard fact and something more of the imagination give it a go. It's on amazon.co.uk. As you see from the reviews, some love it some hate it.  Hilary

Yup! Loved it. Again, cried at the last part. Loved the dynamics between Anne and Richard !

*** Me too Johanne! I'm listening to it as an audiobook too. I much
prefer a'bks to reading, the drawback of course is that one can't see
what to avoid & it can come 'out of the blue' with upsetting results:((
So, I'm listening to the end to see if I can cope. A'bks are much more
immediate specially when listening to a first person narrative - even
PG's sound OK ! Actually, I've picked up on several interesting passages
in her books that I missed when skim reading:)

I think some would say it's a bit simplistic; but as Richardson says himself sometimes the rather obvious simple solutions are the right ones? Until we find that trunk in the attic (probably in York) with all the lost personal letters and a few more chroniclers, we'll never know. I just get the feeling it would be a totally damp squib with no conspiracies whatsoever, or something that we haven't thought of at all and we all go 'now I see!' It was, after all, the age of the spy.
Oh and I hope in that trunk they find the lost picture of Anne Neville;  it's probably in someone's attic as 'Portrait of an Unknown Renaissance Lady'. Hilary
