Re to Johanne&.Wow ! I was so charmed to learn of an existing book of Richards! (Didnt know this!!! ) Can someone document if possible the remaining existing books of Richards, and detail any personal inscription in them, helping us to have a contact of some sort, with him? How totally charming to hear about this particular inscription, and also as so many of his life details., bittersweet.

This is an area that particularly fascinates me about Richard, given it's
such a window onto his inner self.
As far as Richard's books go, I have just found out that there is a book,
out of print, I am sure, by Anne Sutton and Livia Visser-Fuchs called
*Richard III's Books.* Published by Sutton Publishing in 1997. I almost got
a copy from the lady that's selling her Ricardian collection, but someone
who had inquired before me did buy it. <wah!> I've looked on three Amazon
sites - no luck!
Other than *Ipomedon,* the only books I know that Richard had are his *Book
of Hours* and his Wycliffe Bible.
As I think I've said before, too, there is something that I find so
incredibly touching in these small matters, that it seems like I have a
spiritual link with Richard. I'm not unique in this either -- I think many
of us "wimmen" to use Wednesday's spelling who are drawn to Richard have
some sort of "special" feeling about him. This is partly why we feel
protective of him, I think - even though he himself might rebel against that
sort of emotion, especially when displayed overtly.

so much money on Ricardian books! I'll look around and see if anything else
pops up. Now if you happen to find one for, like $35.00 or less, let me
know!

Coronation of Richard III* - and it's been a long time since I ordered them!
There have been a few other less exciting books - like the Nat. Geo. book on
*The Middle Ages* - which I ordered weeks after the first two, and I have
already received.
