Eileen, upon re-reading the article which credited 'diseased jaw' to Dr. Argentine, I realized my mistake, it was not a credible source. Excuse the error, I'm working on my Master's and get lost in all the reading sometimes. You are correct, the little side stories create a more dimensional picture for us.

Marie, thank you and I don't believe the article is available on the open web, I pulled that up through my University's online library. I am grateful someone had the file and skill to post it for you.

Thank you Katy...another tidbit tucked away.

Ishito, the contention has been the Richard ordered the deed; couldn't Henry have done the same? Lancastrian sympathizers among the personnel at the Tower? Someone who conveniently died soon after? In France, Henry vowed to wed the, at that time, illegitimate Princess. How would this have furthered his claim to the throne? Legitimizing the line made Edward V king. Of course, Henry might have accepted, de facto, that the Princes were or would soon be dead as a political necessity, or he might have had an insiders' knowledge. I don't have enough information to even speculate upon Perkin Warbeck, but he is on my reading list.

Thank you all!
