Do you guys know what happened to Buckingham's family after Bosworth? Wasn't there another Henry Stafford who fought for Richard at Bosworth? Was he related to our Buckingham?

The Staffords have flourished since Bosworth, regaining the Duchy for one generation. Two members of another family branch rebelled in 1486 and one was executed.
There is a certain yellow booklet about them circulating around the Society ...........

These Staffords were Humphrey and his brother Thomas, both of Grafton, near Minster Lovell. Humphrey was executed after being hauled out of Sanctuary.

Katy:
He and Katherine Woodville had four children: Edward, Henry, Elizabeth and Anne who lived to adulthood...Margaret and Humphrey are also listed but may have died young.
Richard treated them all well after Buckingham's ill-considered and fatal rebellion. Edward succeeded his father as 3rd Dule of Buckingham; Henry became 1st Earl of Wiltshire.
In looking his up, I discovered that Buckingham's widow, Katherine Woodville, went on to marry Jasper Tudor, uncle of our friend Henry the Weasel. Small world, isn't it?

And of course Edward famously challenged Fat Henry and told him he had more royal blood in his veins than the king. Guess who lost his head?
