I just took a good look at the York/Lancaster family tree and is finding that Tudors have royal blood at all other than though MB.
As I see it. Catherine of V marries Owen Tudor who has no royal blood......Their son Edmund Tudor marries MB who is from a bastard line forbidden from throne! So how could H7 claim the throne as a Lancaster claimant?? Other than right of conquest I see absolutely no merit to his claim.... Am I missing something here?

Hi Ishita, you have it right re Tudor, no right to the throne at all, you are not missing anything, Tudor had to claim by right of conquest, though he tried to claim the crown by marking his reign from the day before Bosworth.( nice chap what ?) He tried to do this so he could attaint Richard's supporters and claim their lands and wealth. Parliament would not let him.
Loyaulte me Lie.
Best Wishes

Even more so, the Owen Tydder - Catherine de Valois marriage may well not have happened, making Edmund and Jasper illegitimate.
The true head of the House of York was Richard, his otherwise senior nephews and nieces being illegitimate or barred by attainder.
The true head of the House of Lancaster was the King of Portugal, whose sister Richard was negotiating to marry.
