Carol responds:
"Dry warmth"? Not today! It's 50 percent humidity, left over from yesterday's all-day rain. (The weather forecasters correctly predicted a 100 percent chance of rain. Last time I remember that happening, in the 1980s, people were buying sand bags to prevent flooding only to have not a drop of rain fall! It's supposed to rain again tomorrow and Tuesday, just showers, though. No snow in this part of Arizona though I suspect there's plenty in the northern half where the elevation is much higher. Flagstaff is 7,000 feet.
I suppose our British friends are planning to travel to Arizona or Texas now en masse to warm their toes and fingers!
Regarding the number of Americans in the group, I know of at least two more (plus a transplanted Yorkshireman, IIRC). And, of course, there are more at the American branch forum, but (don't tell anyone I said so), their discussions aren't as interesting as ours!

I should think not... I chose this group because of the interest and proximity. Plus it gives me a superb reason to make a trip to Leicester and surrounding areas!
