Re facial reconstruction: When I first looked at the skull and closely noted all the bone alignment features&.after the first obvious strong jaw was noted, I then saw that the teeth of lower jaw sat far forward directly below the alignment of the teeth of the upper jaw. This jutting forward of the lower jaw is very unusual. We all do that gesture when angry or very concerned and in deep thought. To be naturally aligned like that is unusual, and as an artist&.Im totally fascinated. Giving it more thought&.this amazing face is showing so many of the fine attributes of character we attribute to Richard. He reminds me of the handsome prince, Lorenzo di Medici who also had a strong forward jaw. His terra cotta bust can be seen in the Ashmoleun. Pardon my spelling. I can now add Richard to my list of handsome Princes who had so much more going for them than a pretty face. Carol D.
