Cheer leading Uniforms
Cheer leading Uniforms
2013-02-09 20:56:55
Oh dear.......we Sartain Squadees will have to do some very serious training. The uniforms for cheerleaders are a) not cheap and b) not very modest. They do lend themselves to RICHARD III, emblazoned across the top, and we could probably get the pieces of the Coat of Arms on the uniform in smaller versions. Full sets come with shoes, hair bows and Pom Poms. Gosh, I am rethinking this. Maybe the wellies, a sweatshirt or jersey, and jeans. Hair bows, not for me, and teensy skirts are a definite no-no. I am open to suggestions.
Getting serious, do you think Uni Leiscester might actually organize a tour? It would be so neat to hear those folks, and see the surroundings. Has anyone said what will become of the car park? Surely, they won't just pave over it. Will they do further excavation to establish the Grey Friars? We need an insider who is in the know.

Well, we could always do armor, but it's contraindicated for the cheer's climactic splits.
I believe the Leicester City Council is going to address what will or won't happen to the Greyfriars site as part of their planning for the Visitors' Centre. Isn't part of the site still under a tent?

I am 65, I for sure am not wearing any hair bows! My baby granddaughter is in Orlando representing her school for Cheerleading Awards. They wear glittery stuff in their hair, and last photo she had on an ENORMOUS pink bow. She is 17, and looks adorable. Somehow, that just does not transfer when you are "of a certain age"!

Y'all. Y'all, y'all, y'all. We are Ricardians, solitary defenders of a misunderstood monarch most people do not have the gumption to research; pray recall that, as far as the outside world is concerned, our different drummer plays the oboe. Wear what you like: hairbow, no hairbow, tin-plated fedora, purple ringlet extensions, medieval helmet. ...Come to think of it, the helmet's probably a good idea for when we make a pyramid. [Scribbling on drawing of Sartain Squadron uniform.]
