Dear Forum members,
Back in 1985 there was a radio broadcast of a service one evening, I assume from Sutton Cheney church, as part of the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of Bosworth. Towards the end, maybe even the final item, there was a beautiful solo De Profundis.
Does anybody know if the service was recorded or if that De Profundis is commercially available? I'd love to hear it again and think it might be a good item to include in whatever service is organised for Richard's re-interment in 2014.
Also ticking my box at present is Todos los Bienes del Mundo [All the good things of this world] which you can hear on Youtube. You want the slow version by Jordi Savall, picking the one with the picture of Charles V on it. The composer is Juan del Encina[?] who was a younger contemporary of Richard. There is a translation from the Spanish there somewhere, but the gist is that everything in this world is lost in the grave except glory and fame – or reputation. It makes a wonderful solemn lament. I hope you enjoy it!

Jan,
No idea about the De Profundis I'm afraid but I have to say that piece played by Jordi Savall is just gorgeous.
