Hi Everyone,
I joined last night and just opened my inbox to find it jammed with messages about Richard : so many different threads it's going to take me a while to read them all! Not that I'm complaining you understand but
I think it might take me a while to catch up :).
So rather than waiting till then - and I do hope no-one minds - I thought I'd see if anyone shared my enthusiasm for Barbara Willards stories that start "Beginning with Richard..." before they go into delightful fiction mixed with history. The series inspired me to start reading about Richard - together with Josephine Teys book, which points out that as soon as it was safe books were written contradicting the Tudor spin docs. Yet poeple Still believe the Tudor rubbish.
Is it part of the human condition to want to believe the worst? Our
contemporary tabloid newspapers would tend to support this.......
Look forward to being part of this group, anyway! lol Liz

Hi Liz...and welcome...This is an exceptionally busy time with the amount of messages going on the forum....It may well be that they lessen in time a little...Eileen
