In his summons to battle in 1485 Richard III threatens attainder,
forfeiture and death upon those who fail to obey. I have searched
through all my documents but can find no others to compare it with.
Simply, were these threats normal or extraordinary? Does anyone
have - or is able to point me towards - a similar demand by another
king for comparison?
