Final call for 2nd March Conference

Anyone going to the Conference at Leicester 2nd March? We are getting name tags so we should be able to find each other if we want to.

Hi, Carole. I'm much too far away to attend, unfortunately. Do you happen to know if Annette (Carson( is still planning to speak? As you probably know, she pulled out of the Channel 4 documentary. I hope that this conference will provide the chance she needs to present her perspective.

Hi Carol
As far as I know Annette is still speaking. I have not had any notifications of changes to the announced Speakers.

Excellent. Thank you. Do you by any chance have the title of her talk? I'll definitely want to read a summary of it if the conference isn't viewable online.

      There is no title but the paperwork states 'Annette will introduce Richard III, giving a brief life and contrasting the real person with perceptionsof him today and in previous times.'

Thanks very much for checking that for me. It's exactly the sort of thing I was hoping that she would do, and very much needed after the documentary and even the press conference failed to address those crucial points. Please do take notes and let us know anything of significance or at least a general outline. (It will probably be familiar material to Ricardians like us, but, I hope, to people just learning about him--particularly members of the press!
