More on Richard's "descendants"

Accidentally posted this on the American R III Society forum. I meant it to go here.

The nine people petitioning for Richard's burial in York are claiming him as their "mutual ancestor":

I also found another article that claimed he was reviled as a "crazed hunchback" in his lifetime, revealing the reporter's appalling ignorance. Ironically, that article is about a ceremony to honor the thousand men who died along with their king at Bosworth:

I take it the writers of these articles and the "descendants" didn't attend the press conference. Media misinformation is still rampant.
