Changing a little from Lincoln's rebellion--you once said that _Restoration_
was one of your favorite novels, didn't you?

So let me ask the *fatal* question: How did the movie compare to the book?

Hi Pam, I fear I didn't know there WAS a movie! I found the book
very funny indeed. On Saturday on BBC4 the French film Le Libertin
was shown, an historical farce with great wit. I cried laughing.
Rather reminded me of Restoration. Who was in it? Worth finding at
the video shop?
