I thank the lady or ladies that put me in touch with the following
reading material:-
" Margaret of Anjou Queen of Engaland and France and of her father
Rene "" The Good "" King of Scilly, Naples, and Jerusalem. With
memories of the house of Anjou by MARY ANN HOOKHAM. It took some
tacking down but got both volumes.
"Joan of Arc, The Legend and the reality", Frances Gies.
"The Book of The Love-Smitten Heart.By Rene Anjou.Superb,it ain't
cheap but worth it (£90.00),there must be extra plates somewhere?of
the shields.
I have read the all the above. Surprised by the ease of reading.
Reading at present "Joan of Arc and Richard III Sex,Saints ,and
Goverment in the Middle Ages...C.T.Wood..I do not how but they seem
to pull together.
I notice the chat about Simnel, have you tried,
A Strange Accident of State,
Henry VII and the Lambert Simnel Conspiracy.
by David Beeston.
I have proably not expressed what I meant to say, so, just a thank
you for those who recommended the books, any more polite suggestions
would be welcome.
