I was thinking, as I watched last night's documentary: there was a rightful king in exile on the European mainland. Not always a completely safe place to be (think of the de la Poles)!

Didn't see it, I'm afraid, but thinking outside our timeframe does
bring home the fact that for a dynasty to attempt to restore itself
with completely spurious candidates who were none of their blood,
would be a bit unusual to say the least.
I'm thinking of the 'Feigned Boys' of course.
