Tracing Viscount Lovell

Hello Forum members,

Is any member able to help me trace a reference to Lovell's wife sending a relative/friend to Scotland to look for her missing husband only to have him write back saying he cannot find her husband?

I must keep notes; I know I've seen this recently but I cannot tell if the tale is creditable if I cannot locate it. I didn't dream it!
