Carol if you're serious about wanting to learn more about English history I
find I have a duplicate copy of Age of Chivalry by Arthur Bryant (hardback).
This is an overview of the High Middle Ages in Britain which you're welcome
to if you want it, although it'll probably be a couple of weeks before I can
afford to post it.
I also have duplicates of The King's Bed by Margaret Campbell Barnes
(paperback), an acceptable but not brilliant novel about Richard of Eastwell
in which "our" Richard has a sympathetic cameo role, and of We Speak No
Treason (hardback), if anyone wants them.

Carol responds:
Thanks, Claire, but I have three new books on Richard and plan to order more. Sometimes I feel like Josephine Tey's Inspector Grant, who at one point states that no one interests him except Richard. Can't dig up the exact quote right now.
