Edward, Earl of Warwick
Edward, Earl of Warwick

I'm hoping that someone with access to "The Coronation of Richard III: The Extant Documents", might be able to help me with a reference...
I've read that Edward, Earl of Warwick attended the coronation of Richard and Anne on July 6th, but did he fill any particular role? Was he simply an observer, or was he part of the procession?
Any help would be gratefully received.

There's no real answer to your question. He is referred to as being
present, but nothing said about whether or not he had a specific role in
the coronation. It's also mentioned that he did go along on the royal
progress afterwards.

Thanks AJ, it's nice to confirm that I hadn't missed that tidbit of
information during my research.
