Interesting passage
Interesting passage
2013-05-15 20:50:45
I confess, when I get so tired of reading the non-fiction books, I retire to read Kate Sedley. I just read this dialogue, and thought it would be, if not interesting, at least germane to our previous discussions of yesterday.
Roger the Chapman:
"Why would anyone want to kill my lord of Gloucester?" ........obviously there were candidates aplenty!

Was that from the 'Eve of St Hyacynth'? One of my favorites.

Yes, it was! The books are such fun......and a nice change from wading through non-fiction.

I love Roger. And she is very clever really. She knows her fifteenth century inside out. She could probably convert more than the lurid Gregory any day - perhaps we could do with a successor to 'Cadfael' on TV?
