BOOK Download - Life in a Medieval City (YORK) (1920)

I just found a free download (multiple formats) of a 1920 book by Edwin
Benson entitled, Lie in a Mediaeval City. What's nice is that the book is
on York, and there are references to Richard.
If you want to download the PDF, right click on the "PDF" format and then
save the link to your computer.

Hi Weds
I have a copy of King Richard's Gloucester Life in a Mediaeval Town by Gwen Waters, published in 1983. There are quite a few books about life in mediaeval towns and cities; it appears to be a popular branch of historical enquiry, especially in relation to local history.

Gwen used to be in the Gloucester Branch of the Society when I was a member back in the late 60s /early 70s. I do not know anything of her now.
