ARTICLE: Surprise Link to Royalty

From a New Zealand article that's a must read because Richard appears to
have managed to find a way to use Dr. "Oops" Appleby to his advantage:
'[Richard's relative in NZ] knew she had British blood on both sides of her
family, but had no idea that it could be linked back to royalty. "I have to
say that at first I couldn't have given a toss. But hearing [Dr Appleby]
talk, I have started to feel really protective towards him [Richard]. He
had a hell of a time."'

Sound familiar?

The article also reveals that the good doctor had started working at Univ.
of Leicester only "a few months" before the dig, and a few more interesting
bits.
