Uploaded by the Society: In memoriam; Ricardus Rex was composed shortly
after the discovery of the king's body under a car park in Leicester
earlier this year. It's an unaccompanied choir setting of words inspired by
Richard's Book of Hours and his motto.
"Loyalty binds me; friends are forever."

Thanks Weds, it is lovely. On the same page of Utube is a 9 min tribute to Richard done in October last by one whose foreign name I can't spell here. It is absolutely stunning and very moving for those who haven't seen it. H.

Is that the one by tashusik? I downloaded this some time ago to keep among my files. Does anyone know who is playing the role of King Richard in the fight sequence? As soon as I saw that, I was amazed. He looks exactly like I've always imagined Richard would have looked. J

Yes it is. No-one seems to know. It isn't Tobias Capwell the medieval fight guy as suggested, he's bigger and blond. Thanks for posting the link. H

I don't know, Hilary, it *might* actually be Dr Tobias Capwell. The photos of him on the Order of the Crescent Facebook page show him as dark haired, not blond. And he was one of the speakers at the Leicester Conference, talking about what type of armour Richard might have had. He's on the second photo down, far right http://www.richardiii.net/leicester_conference.php# Enjoyed his talk on You Tube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Sn9F0VHTjY
If no-one knows for sure, perhaps one day I'll get around to sending a letter to him at the Wallace Museum and ask him if he knows who it might be, it obviously being in his line of interest. :-)
Many thanks,
Karen

Could be that one on the web showing off the armour (in which he deals) isn't him, though it says it is. Would be logical if it was though. I think some on here have been to hear him speak. You could do a post headed his name and they might answer.
