It was grabbed by my husband as well. He was able to point out that the WOTR battle reconstruction at Warwick Castle in Celebrity Masterchef was flawed because they were carrying pikes!! So there you go Stephen, you've taught a 'newcomer' something. I'm still waiting to get my hands on it but congratulations on all the hard work that must have gone into it. H.

Stephen, my copy of your book arrived on 21st August, and I said so on the Forum on 22nd. Seeing all the posts now makes me wonder if for some reason mine was earlier than everyone else's. It was an Amazon pre-order, but I'm pretty sure I was far from the only one to do that. =^..^=

Coral, I ordered mine quite a while ago. I think I went through Amazon. Stephen checks in irregularly, and can be of more help. It is one of a series of books about great battles. And,I started reading, and it is very good. Stephens very well written is the best quick explanation of the Wars of the Roses that I have ever read.
