Ricardian sites in London?
Ricardian sites in London?

Hi all,
As a lurker here, I've greatly enjoyed reading the various debates.
I'm going to be in London in late May on a brief holiday and am
wondering if any of you have suggestions on Ricardian sites in and
about the area that could be visited.
I've already been to Crosby Hall, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of
London, and St. Helen's Bishopsgate. Are there any other locales
associated with Richard that are either in London or not too far away?
Any suggestions or pointers would be greatly welcome!
-Kellie

I'm sorry to say that Baynard's Castle, the first site
I thought of, was destroyed in the Great Fire.
Another interesting site was Coldharbor, a house which
Richard III gave to the Heralds in support of their
work. Unfortunately that was also destroyed in the
fire.
You can read about them at:

If I could go to London, I'd ask someone what the
neighborhoods where these sites were located are like
now. It might be worth visiting the neighborhoods
even though the buildings are gone. That depends on
how much time you have for walking, too.
That's my best suggestion.
Enjoy your trip!
