That's hilarious. Did you ask either of them (especially her) if they were related to their namesakes?

I don't know your profession, 43118. If you are a
doctor, did (Sir) William Stanley ask to have his head re-attached?

A few years back, in the 70s, the London Road in Gloucester had an Edward
Hotel, a Stanley House and a York House pub. The York House pub sign was the NPG
portrait of Richard. Then they got rid of that sign and replaced it with, of all
things, the York' prison hulk. Nice. Anyway, in view of Richard's surge in
popularity, I imagine they wish they'd kept his portrait. The Edward Hotel still
flourishes. It could be any old Edward, of course, but I decided that with his
brother only just down the road, it had to be the fourth one.

Hi! That is incredible and the most surreal thing about that is that Sir William Stanley was Francis Lovell's stepfather! From: "43118@..." <43118@...> To: Sent: Tuesday, October 1, 2013 5:37 AM Subject: Surreal day

Most of my messages don't appear to come through! I'll try again..
I'm not a doctor, I'm a handyperson co-ordinator for a UK charity, and the
Lovells and Stanleys were having grab rails and mobility aids fitted! Also,
later in the afternoon, I had another client in Woodville Avenue! It just got
worse!!
For anyone who didn't see it, the fragment of HT's standard at Bosworth was
sold for £3800 and has apparently gone to a buyer in Cornwall.

It's very odd, isn't it. Reminds me of my family history research, where I found that the sleepy New Forest Village where my ancestors lived in the 17th century was not only the parish where that other Tyrell shot William II, but contained families named Warwick, Lovell, Mortimer and King.Marie ---In , <> wrote:Most of my messages don't appear to come through!
