Regarding "re re re" OP

Re: Regarding "re re re" OP
"Can those of you who can control the subject line snip some of those "re re re"s? I, unfortunately, can't control the subject line of anything except new posts like this one. Snipping old messages (except the one you're responding to), would help, too."
Carol again:
Aargh. That should be OT, not OP, in the subject line. Can't fix that, either! Dagnabit.

Yes ! My Kindle is fine, but on my super duper hi spec laptop, I have nothing but problems with Yahoo. Unfortunately I hate typing on my Kindle.

Yes..that strange isn't it. everything is fine on my IPad but if I visit the forum on my MacBook...it's blooming awful. I would go as far to say I would have to part company with the forum if that was the only means I had available. It's just a nightmare to post or read the messages in that format. I really couldn't be doing with it...what a shame it was changed for the worse. Eileen

Carol responds:
I wonder if the rationale is that "no one" is using PCs or Macs anymore, so they're formatting for "portable devices" or whatever the proper term is. iGoogle is shutting down based on that same false assumption, so now I have to figure out a way to create a new home page with the same handy devices (calendar, calculator, weather, translator, etc.). Thanks a lot, Google! Are you and Yahoo involved in some sort of conspiracy against those of us who don't text and who use a cell phone to call people? On top of that, Yahoo locked me out, as I think it did Jessie. I had to change my password *and* use a different browser! If it's no the government controlling our lives (U.S. Congress government shutdown and threatened default), it's the Yahoos and the, er, Googlians?
Rant over for the moment.
