I tried sending these 2 links from the Hinkley Times on Friday but the curse of Yahoo struck my two messages. This time I am sending just one. The news is a bit out of date now as the decision's been made but all the same….I hope the links work. This took a long time to compose.

This gives details of the results of the public vote on the 5 candidate pieces for Leicester Cathedral's outdoor art work.
It also tells us the new website for the Cathedral's plans to re-bury the king's remains will be launched tomorrow, 3rd. Feb. Whether there will be much new given that we're all awaiting the March judicial review round 2 is yet to be seen.
Goodness knows what British composer Philip Wilby and poet and lyricist Ian McMillan have in mind for their musical piece to be rehearsed this summer

This shows what the choices were for those who heard about the vote and were able to join in. Having seen them I feel more positive about the winner although the monument with the weepers is evocative. I see the king [in suitable armour!] way up out of our reach and perhaps there should be a group formed of scholars and supporters trying to get a leg-up from each other and find out more of what the king was like. Not that I can sculpt…..
