Anniversary of Richard's Identification

Richard's bones were identified as his a year ago today. Be well and happy, Your Grace, wherever you are now....

Eileen, I remember clearly standing in front of the TV, holding my breath
for the actual announcement that it really was him. And when it was, I
screeched, much to my husband's astonishment. But what a moment. WHAT a moment.
To actually find him. To have him back after all those centuries. And now we
even know exactly what he looked like and he is no disappointment. All that is
needed from now on is for him to be laid to rest, somewhere that is worthy of
him. No more squabbling and discourtesy. I do not care where it is, provided it
gives him the respect a King of England deserves. And this particular king
deserves a LOT! After all that he and his reputation have suffered, he is long
overdue the restoration of his honour. I pray it will not be another year before
it happens.

Ditto......I watched that video of Phillipa walking to the R in car park, and they started digging. Dispute the squabbles over who, what, when, where and how, at least Richard has been found. I cried, and then I laughed, have been angry and disappointed,
but that is life, and I suppose also death. We have little control over either!
